Yellow iris or yellow flag

Yellow iris or yellow flag is a species of banks of ditches, streams, rivers, canals, pools and larger ponds, as well as of wet meadows and wet forests. Like marsh-marigold, it is a sign of quality of mesotrophic wet forests.
