Tree frog

The Tree frog is a and small (3.5-5cm) grass-green frog with typical suction cups on its toes. It uses these to climb in brambles tall plants. To breed, it needs ponds with lots of aquatic plants and rich riparian vegetation. It is also important that the riparian zone receives prolonged sunlight and that the pond does not run dry before the end of summer. On the bank there should be dense bramble wetlands and nearby moist tall-herb fens.
